World of Clans - Clan Freshers Week: 21st - 28th November

Hey there, I come here to invite your Clan to join in on the new event hosted online by World of Clans. the event is a Clan Freshers Week From the 21st - 28th November.

World of clans would like to invite you to join our freshers week, where you can sign up today and get your clan some new recruits. As long as your clan are willing to be open to new members between the 21st and 28th of November.


Will the clan be recruiting for Gears of War 2, Endwar, Call of Duty 5 or Farcry 2. Then this event is for your clan. With tournaments for each of these games during the CFW, and some rather interesting FarCry 2 map creator competitions, this will be a week to remember, and get involved with the wider community.

The event is called "Clan Freshers Week", and is being held online on the website, www.worldofclans.com. This event is a spin off from the ever popular Uni freshers week (although our event will unfortunately be alcohol free) and is aimed at getting new members into clans, and letting people find out what being part of a clan is like, playing in tournaments, and brackets.

During the event, we will be running tournaments, and ladders for teams to participate in, as well as a free agents section for clans to find new players for the copious amount of games being released in the run up to Christmas. We are advertising on several websites, and I am personally inviting you to join this event. Our tournaments will cover the following 4 games:

* Gears of War 2
* Call of Duty - World at War
* FarCry 2
* EndWar

The event is completely free to enter, and everyone is welcome. We anticipate an online attendance in the hundreds, and we are looking forward to holding a massive, fun, community event for everyone involved. We will also be giving away 2 clan hosting packages during this event, to participating clans, just for taking part, you have entered that competition.

About Clan Freshers Week

Clan Freshers Week is a week long clan recruitment week, from 21st - 28th November, much like an "open day" for clans, where we will have clans open all week for new recruits. Gamers who are looking for a clan, gamers who don't know what a clan is, or gamers who have never found the "right" clan, this event is for you!

The Tournaments during this Clan Freshers week will be fo the newly released games which are Call of Duty: World at War, Gears of War 2, Endwar and Farcry 2, Tournaments will be listed in the events area and you would be needed to create a team and recruit 5 or more members into your team to join in the tournaments. Tournament Name: War Tournament

Tournament Begins: Sunday 23rd November at 8pm

Tournament Ends: Friday 28th November at 7pm

Tournament Description: This Tournament is open to active clans on World of clans only and not random clans that signup to the community just to enter the event as its the clans that make the community at World of clans. This Tournament will be using the War Gamemode on Call of Duty: World of War.




Tournament Name: Team Deathmatch Tournament

Tournament Begins: Monday 24th November at 8pm

Tournament Ends: Friday 28th November at 7pm

Tournament Description: Come and join WoC during CFW, to play some Team Death Match, on some custom community made Maps.

Multiplayer in Far Cry 2 attempts to include the dynamic elements of the single player game (such as fire propagation) and to provide as accessible gameplay as possible so that it is available to all skill levels and so that players have specific gameplay aspects to keep in mind when designing their own maps in the map editor.

Tournament Description: This Tournament is open to active clans on World of clans only and not random clans that signup to the community just to enter the event as its the clans that make the community at World of clans. This Tournament will be using the Execution Gamemode on Gears of War 2.
